Cultural Services to open bookshop at Ince’s Hall

A new bookshop will be opening in town soon. It will be housed at the Ince’s Hall.

Works are already underway to modify the unit, which was until recently occupied by a coffee shop. The bookshop will be run and managed by Cultural Services.

CEO Seamus Byrne says GCS took the decision to open a bookshop because there was no interest from the business community to open one.

The idea is to support local writers with the sale of local books – but it will also stock international titles. The bookshop will also host events including readings and recitals.

GCS hopes it will be able to open its doors to the public soon after the Easter break.
