The Gustavo Bacarisas Prize prize at the 49th International Art Exhibition has been won by Fermin Garcia Villaescusa.

The artist’s piece, ‘Ventana Al Patio’, was the judge’s favourite from a total of 128 works.

Sebastian Rodriquez placed second, winning the Jacobo Azagury Prize.

Gavin Keith Garcia placed third, winning the Leni Mifsud Prize.

Bathsheba Peralta won the Rudesindo Mannia Prize for the Best Gibraltar Theme and Naomi Duarte was named the Best Young Artist.

The exhibition was organised by Cultural Services, it opened last night at the Gustavo Bacarisas Gallery.
