Residential and District Parking Zones will be suspended during the festive period from Saturday 24th December until Monday 2nd January inclusive.
Parking Zones revert to normal on Tuesday 3rd January. Despite the concession, obstructing cars will be issued with a fine or towed away.
Meanwhile, night buses will continue to be available during the festive period on Friday and Saturday nights between 9pm and 2am.
Transport Minister Paul Balban says he encourages people to use the service if out drinking, and to leave their cars at home.
