Women’s Mentorship Programme invites participants

Women`s mentorship Programme

Mentors and mentees are being invited to take register for the fourth cycle of the Women’s Mentorship Programme.

This forms part of the Ministry for Equality’s gender equality strategy.

According to the Ministry for Equality, 89 mentees have so far benefited from the advice and expertise of leading professionals in its previous Women’s Mentorship Programme cycles.

The aim is to continue supporting women’s professional progress and to develop mentees’ skills so that they can confidently aspire to positions of leadership and management.

The programme is open to women over the age of 18, resident in Gibraltar, who feel they would benefit from a mentor. They can sign up via equality@gibraltar.gov.gi by the 4th November, although applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Mentors who can offer career support and advice are also invited to register.

Minister for Equality Samantha Sacramento says the programme has been successful with many mentor/mentee relationships continuing beyond the programme.
