St Andrew’s Church of Scotland, which formally opened in May 1854, has held what is expected to be its last ever service.
Reverend Ewen Maclean led prayers for the people of Ukraine & for all those who serve the Gibraltar community.
He said the congregation will remember the church for the rest of their lives.
It is not clear what the listed building will be used for next.
Speaking at the service, the Governor said he hopes it can remain a place of Christian worship.
